Quality Technician - Venta de Baños - Palencia

We are sharing a **new vacancy for a Quality Technician** position at one of our plants in Venta de Baños, Palencia: Your **mission** will be to guarantee and ensure constant attention to food quality and safety throughout all processes involving raw materials and products, as well as to support the management of quality/operations processes with other departments. You must always observe safety regulations, risk prevention, environmental standards, Good Manufacturing and Hygiene Practices, and food quality and safety standards. Some of the main **responsibilities** include: 1\. Ensure control of incoming raw materials, packaging, and containers by verifying samples and maintaining documentation according to the established quality system. 2\. Ensure quality control of finished products by verifying samples, maintaining required documentation within the quality system, and collecting and storing counter-samples of stored products. 3\. Conduct internal and external inspections and audits of raw material suppliers and other materials according to the schedule established by the Quality Manager of your facility. 4\. Properly maintain all required documentation records for your position, promptly notifying your supervisor of any anomalies detected so they can be immediately corrected. 5\. Provide center staff with proper knowledge and application of quality processes, offering on-site advice to internal customers (e.g., ensuring correct execution of industrial tests). What we **require** from this candidate: Intermediate or higher vocational qualification in technical specialties related to the agri-food sector or similar fields. Desirable training: Specialized training in Food Standards and Safety, Auditing, and knowledge related to the industry. Prior knowledge of occupational risk prevention and quality management.
