Currently, as a personnel selection consultancy, we are recruiting a **Facilities Manager** for our client’s food production center located in the **Campo de Cartagena** (Murcia). **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Facilities Maintenance Management** * Ensures proper operation of all production center facilities (industrial refrigeration, compressed air, electrical systems, water supply, and civil/building installations). * Plans, supervises, and controls preventive and corrective maintenance—both internal and external. * Defines preventive maintenance plans to be executed by facility technicians. * **Subcontractor Management** * Coordinates and supervises external companies performing maintenance or repair work. * Controls quality, safety, and adherence to deadlines in subcontractor interventions. * Validates and monitors maintenance contracts, ensuring technical and financial compliance. * **Project and Investment Management** * Participates in defining, planning, and executing new infrastructure projects and investments at the production center. * Coordinates the technical execution of construction works, installations, or expansions, ensuring their proper integration into the center’s operations. * Monitors the economic and technical progress of projects under responsibility. * **Technical Staff Supervision** * Coordinates tasks performed by the team of facility technicians. * Assigns and prioritizes work, verifying correct execution and compliance with maintenance procedures. * Promotes continuous improvement in methods, timing, and safety of interventions. * **Technical and Documentation Management** * Maintains up-to-date technical documentation for facilities and equipment. * Prepares technical reports on status, incidents, and improvement proposals. * Ensures compliance with applicable technical, industrial safety, and environmental regulations. **REQUIREMENTS** * Vocational training specialized in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical fields. * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related fields) is desirable. * Minimum of **3–4 years’ experience** in industrial facilities maintenance or technical services management within production environments. * Demonstrable experience in **team coordination** and **subcontractor management**. * Knowledge of **preventive and corrective maintenance systems**, and of technical regulations applicable to industrial facilities. * Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and office software. **What does the company offer?** * Join a well-established, sector-leading company. * Opportunity to lead a technical team and contribute ideas for continuous improvement. * Permanent contract. * Flexible working hours. * Competitive salary.
