Description
The purpose of this position is to ensure the continuous operability and availability of the production machinery fleet in an industrial environment. The person in this role will be responsible for carrying out necessary interventions to minimize unplanned downtime, thereby guaranteeing continuity of manufacturing processes. Tasks are structured to cover both scheduled maintenance and immediate response to incidents, always performed under the company's established safety and quality protocols. Work is carried out within a rotating shift system covering all 24 hours of the day, implying adaptation to varying schedules and constant coordination with the team to ensure full coverage. This activity directly contributes to objectives of productive efficiency and equipment reliability, serving as a key element within the maintenance department. Interaction with other departments—such as production and logistics—is routine, to coordinate machine shutdowns and plan interventions with minimal impact on the manufacturing chain. The work environment is dynamic and technical, where agile problem-solving and continuous learning about new technologies are fundamental aspects of daily work. A computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) is used to record all activities, incidents, and material consumption, enabling precise tracking and continuous process improvement. Participation in technical improvement proposals aimed at optimizing equipment and procedures is also a valuable part of the role, fostering innovation within the area. In summary, this position represents an opportunity to apply and expand technical knowledge in a real industrial context, with a tangible impact on operational productivity and efficiency.
The company offers a competitive salary range of €28,000–€34,000 gross per year, adjusted according to the candidate’s experience and expertise. Working hours follow a rotating four-shift system—including morning, afternoon, and night shifts—operating in three-week cycles from Monday to Saturday. This system allows for five consecutive days off each month, facilitating work-life balance. Employment is with a solid and growing company, offering job stability and guaranteed high production volume. The position includes opportunities for continuous technical development through direct work with state-of-the-art industrial machinery.
A vocational training qualification (Intermediate or Advanced Level) in fields such as Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Equipment Maintenance, Electricity, or Electronics is required. Demonstrable professional experience of at least two to three years performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks in continuous industrial production environments is mandatory. Solid expertise in one’s specialization—mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electricity, or industrial automation—is required. Full availability to work a rotating shift system—including morning, afternoon, and night shifts—as well as Saturdays according to the published schedule is essential. Broad knowledge of electricity and automation systems is considered a strong asset.
