**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsa **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Empresa de Transformación Agraria, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., the parent company of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in work related to rural development and nature conservation, is seeking to hire 1 Technical Engineer or Graduate Engineer to provide support for Natural Trails in the Community of Madrid. **Workplace** -------------------- * Tragsa Madrid Office Contract based in Madrid with nationwide travel requirements **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Collect, classify, and standardize all available data on Spain's Natural Trails network for integration into the GIS (Geographic Information System) application * Adapt the existing methodology for managing field-collected data during trail route reviews, aligning it with emerging needs * Verify all field data collected during Natural Trails reviews; identify and correct errors or information gaps promptly and appropriately * Standardize all field-collected GIS data to enable subsequent analysis of trail routes * Integrate data into ArcGIS Online * Conduct studies and analyses of alternative route options and submit authorization requests * Draft reports generated from Natural Trails reviews and other related documents **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the stated requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the "Annexes" section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request, at any time during the process, supporting documents for the information provided in the application, as well as additional details from the candidate’s CV whenever necessary to verify the stated requirements and/or merits for this vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatic Engineering, Geomatic and Topographic Engineering, Technical Engineering in Topography, Forestry Engineering, Forestry and Natural Environment Engineering, Technical Forestry Engineering, Technical Engineering in Public Works, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or Geography (MECES 2\) (degree recognized in Spain or an equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * Minimum 1 year of professional and/or academic experience using GIS tools ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Availability to travel nationwide for at least 50% of working hours * Valid Spanish Class B driver’s license in force * Proficiency in drafting monitoring reports (to be verified during technical assessment) * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel (to be verified during technical assessment) **Merit-Based Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Verifiable training in Power BI ### **Prior Experience** * 2 to 5 years of experience using GIS tools (professional and/or academic experience) ### **Other Meritorious Factors** * Knowledge of web map and viewer development (to be verified during technical assessment) * Knowledge of forestry works and/or linear infrastructure (to be verified during technical assessment) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 6 months, extendable up to a maximum total duration of 12 months, if applicable + Full-time working schedule.
