This is a full-time position. **Responsibilities:** ---------------------- * Work closely with engineering personnel and follow their instructions to apply engineering concepts of mechanical, support, civil, and/or structural design into consistent deliverables comprising construction detail drawings and graphics * Develop moderately complex designs and digital models, incorporating modifications or new designs into manufacturing, installation, and/or construction engineering drawings * Prepare designs, digital models, and drawings for complete items considering clearances for structures, piping, and/or critical mechanical installations * Coordinate drafting activities, track progress, provide technical guidance and feedback to achieve accurate results * Assist in analyzing engineering drawings and models for product manufacturability and constructability, including verifying: ease of interpretation, proper illustration, necessary data, correct and required dimensioning, appropriate tolerances aligned with manufacturing costs and feasibility, suitable surface finish and welding symbols, material specifications and related note data, proper material application and sizes, and related drawing format requirements such as bill of materials, document approval and release according to specific project or department procedures * Calculate dimensions, tolerances, fits, slopes, weights, curvatures, etc., using engineering information and formulas * Interpret specifications, references, etc., applying established drafting principles * Frequently take on-site measurements and data, perform inspections, and support installation within a nuclear facility **Requirements:** --------------- * Engineering degree related to the technical discipline, or Technician or Vocational Training qualification related to the technical discipline, or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in industrial/nuclear projects * Software: MICROSTATION (preferably Connect version and experience with 3D tools), AVEVA E3D, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, TEKLA Structures, PDS, SmartPlant3D * Must be qualified to work in radiological areas and hold a radiological pass; occasionally may work in confined spaces wearing a respirator mask * Proficient in written and spoken Spanish and English - **Welcome to the future of nuclear energy**, where Westinghouse Electric Company is leading the field with expertise and innovation to shape the power of tomorrow. Ascó in Tarragona with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office).
