We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure cloud\-native platforms, with a strong focus on distributed systems, serverless architectures, and emerging AI ecosystems. This role involves architecting high\-performance solutions that enable the distribution and consumption of AI agents across frontend and backend interfaces. KEY RESPONSABILITIES · Design and implement scalable, distributed applications and cloud architectures primarily on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency. · Architect and develop serverless backend solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related services to support high\-throughput workloads. · Lead the design and development of the Agent Garden and Agent Gateway platform — a secure ecosystem for distributing, discovering, and consuming AI agents. · Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration patterns to enable seamless communication between services, frontends, and AI components. · Design and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, OIDC\-based protocols, JWT, and other identity standards to ensure enterprise\-grade security. · Collaborate with cross\-functional teams (frontend, AI/ML, DevOps, product) to translate business requirements into technical architecture and roadmaps. · Provide technical leadership, conduct architecture reviews, define best practices, and mentor development teams on cloud\-native and AI platform patterns. · Evaluate emerging technologies in the AI agent ecosystem and integrate them into production\-grade solutions. · Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and observability standards across multi\-cloud environments (with primary focus on AWS). Required Qualifications \& Experience · 10–12\+ years of hands\-on software development and architecture experience building scalable, distributed systems in cloud environments. MUST HAVE: o Deep expertise in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, DynamoDB, Terraform/Terramate, etc.) and serverless architectures. o Strong proficiency in Python for backend development, scripting, and automation. o Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. GOOD TO HAVE: o Knowledge of authentication \& authorization frameworks, including OIDC, OAuth 2\.0, SAML, and token\-based security models. o Experience integrating frontend platforms (e.g., Backstage\-based developer portals) with serverless backends and AI services. o Understanding of distributed systems challenges, resilience patterns, observability (CloudWatch, mattermost), and CI/CD practices. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Experience with additional cloud providers (Azure/GCP) or hybrid/multi\-cloud setups. · Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure\-as\-code tools (Terraform, Terramate), CICD (Github Actions). · Exposure to AI/ML workflows, agent frameworks, or LLM orchestration tools. · AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional, Developer – Professional).
