The Retractable Forklift Operator position focuses on internal logistics management within a warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include order picking and placement at height, ensuring products are correctly stored and available for subsequent distribution. This role is essential to maintaining an efficient flow of goods, supporting supply to a nationwide network of physical warehouses. The job involves careful material handling and strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and cargo damage. The operator's daily routine consists of receiving order instructions, selecting the corresponding goods from high-density shelving, and preparing them for shipment. Using the retractable forklift, the professional transports and places pallets in designated locations, optimizing available warehouse space. Performing basic machine maintenance and promptly reporting any issues is essential to ensure operational continuity. Organization and attention to detail are critical to meeting workload volumes and established deadlines. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability, as logistical demands may vary. This position directly contributes to the supply chain, ensuring products reach their destination in a timely manner. The ability to work autonomously under supervision, as well as collaborate with other team members to achieve shared logistics department goals, will be highly valued. Compensation is set according to the collective bargaining agreement, with a gross hourly rate of 13\.21 euros. The initial contract is temporary, although there is potential to transition into permanent employment with the client company in the future. The work atmosphere is described as pleasant and dynamic, with a competent and committed team of professionals. The position requires adaptation to rotating shifts covering morning and afternoon hours. A minimum of six months' verifiable experience in high-level order picking and placement, along with fluent operation of a retractable forklift supported by at least six months of recent practice, is required. A valid forklift operator license and diploma covering five machine types is mandatory, as is availability for rotating morning and afternoon shifts and immediate availability to start. Additionally, a valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required, and candidates must have routinely operated a retractable forklift in previous roles.
