We are looking for a Fleet Technician to join our central management team. Your mission will be to ensure that the fleet is always in optimal condition, 100% operational and profitable, meeting the highest standards of safety and quality. What will you do? As the leader in fleet management, your main responsibilities will include: \- Strategic Planning: Plan and coordinate all acquisition (Infleet) and disposal (Defleet) processes, aligning activities with delivery ratios and market demand. \- Operational Organization: Ensure efficient organization of the fleet at the main facility, guaranteeing vehicles are correctly located and ready for rental at any time. \- Maintenance Management: Work collaboratively with the Maintenance department to ensure proper preventive maintenance and that vehicles meet the highest quality standards before being rented. \- Usage Optimization: Monitor vehicle utilization, occupancy rates, and mileage to maximize efficiency and anticipate periods of high demand or maintenance needs. \- Cost Control and Profitability: Lead control over operating costs such as maintenance, insurance, fuel, and other fleet-related expenses, aiming for maximum profitability. \- Legal Compliance: Ensure all vehicles have valid circulation permits, active insurance, and are up to date with safety inspections and local legal regulations. \- Fleet Renewal and Fuel: Plan fleet renewal based on vehicle lifecycle and establish policies for efficient fuel consumption control. What you need to join our team: \- Proven Experience: Previous experience in comprehensive fleet management (ideally in the rent\-a\-car sector or similar), with emphasis on planning and asset control. \- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to work with profitability indicators, utilization metrics, and large volumes of data. \- Organization and Leadership: Organizational skills, time management, and ability to lead teams in a high-pressure and dynamic environment. \- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Infleet/Defleet processes, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance. \- Effective Communication: Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with maintenance, operations, and management.
