Description

The electromechanical maintenance position entails a set of responsibilities aimed at ensuring equipment operability and safety in an industrial environment. The selected candidate must demonstrate respect for and proactivity regarding all occupational safety matters, efficiently managing both corrective and preventive maintenance activities. A computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) will be used to manage work notifications and orders, as well as to track spare parts usage. Furthermore, fault investigation is required with a clear focus on continuous improvement, including participation in drafting and updating technical procedures. Work is carried out in a dynamic environment where communication with internal customers and suppliers is key to operational success. The professional must be accustomed to—or willing to work within—a rotating shift system, implying schedule flexibility and adaptability. Maintaining a high standard of order and cleanliness in work areas is essential, thereby contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. Proactive maintenance management focuses not only on repairing faults but also on preventing future issues, thus optimizing resources and minimizing equipment downtime. Participation in continuous improvement activities is an integral part of the role, constantly seeking opportunities to optimize processes and procedures. Interaction with various systems—including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLCs, and HMIs—requires solid technical knowledge and agile diagnostic capability. In summary, this position combines technical expertise with a proactive attitude and commitment to safety and operational efficiency within an expanding industrial environment. The contract is indefinite, commencing at the Azuqueca de Henares plant for training, followed by relocation to Torija once construction permits; however, remaining in Azuqueca remains a possibility. The gross annual salary is €35,335, plus an approximate supplement of 10\-15% for shifts worked and a conditional bonus of up to one-twelfth of the salary starting next year. Applicants must be electromechanical technicians holding a higher vocational education qualification (ciclo formativo de grado superior), which is considered advantageous, and must have a minimum of three years’ experience in industrial environments. Knowledge of diagnosing and resolving faults in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC, and HMI systems is required. Additionally, candidates must be accustomed to working within maintenance systems oriented toward continuous improvement and CMMS usage, demonstrating a proactive attitude and capacity for autonomous work.
