QUALITY INSPECTOR WITH WELDING KNOWLEDGE
Are you a meticulous person with quality control experience and attention to detail? Our client, JORDAN GROUP, specialists in Stamping, Tool and Die, Welding and Component Assembly, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their quality team. You will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the quality standards established by the customer before storage or shipment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Verify the quality of in-process and finished products through visual inspections and measurements.
· Perform self-inspections and authorize the start and end of production orders.
· Train production staff on quality guidelines and validate their correct application.
· Conduct destructive and productive tests according to control procedures.
· Monitor and record the quality of incoming raw materials.
· Identify and manage non-conforming or held materials.
· Participate in implementing corrective actions and documentation management.
· Record scrap and assist in internal, supplier, and customer claims.
· Ensure the proper use of measurement devices and associated tools.
Experience:
· Minimum 1 year in similar roles within industrial environments.
Required knowledge:
· Proficiency with inspection tools: caliper, micrometer, goniometer, gauge blocks, dynamometer.
· Basic knowledge of SPC, CP, Cpk, and blueprint interpretation.
· Knowledge of quality standards (IATF 16949/2016) and environmental standards.
· Proficiency with computer tools: Excel and document management systems.
ISO 9606-12017 UNE\-EN certification is mandatory.
