We are currently preparing for the opening of two properties in Menorca: Son Vell (Ciutadella) and Son Ermità / Binideufà (Ferreries), and we are seeking professionals committed to excellence to join our team. **About Son Vell** Son Vell, located in an impressive setting within an extensive 180-hectare estate and just a short distance from the coast, rises from the land as an eternal symbol of Menorca’s elegance and beauty. The spacious and sophisticated rooms and suites are distributed across the original 18th-century manor house, restored traditional outbuildings, and a series of newly constructed buildings meticulously integrated into aromatic gardens. **Position Description:** As a Receptionist at Vestige Collection, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your mission will be to welcome, assist, and accompany every person who crosses our doors, ensuring their experience is memorable from the very first moment. This role combines the warmth of hospitality with the highest service standards, in an environment where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are fundamental. **What will your responsibilities be?** * Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a personalized experience * Proactively and effectively address guest requests, inquiries, and issues * Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, available services, and local recommendations * Manage reservations, modifications, and cancellations through various channels (phone, email, etc.) and OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) * Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F\&B) to ensure guest satisfaction * Administer the front desk cash register and billing in accordance with established procedures * Maintain up-to-date guest databases and manage VIP profiles * Handle complaints or claims with empathy and professionalism, seeking satisfactory solutions that elevate service quality * Ensure the front desk area is organized to reflect brand standards **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for?** * Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel reception, preferably in boutique properties, 4-5 star hotels, or luxury establishments * Education in Tourism, Hospitality, Administration, or related fields (vocational training, undergraduate degree, or equivalent) * Advanced proficiency in hotel management systems; Opera Cloud is highly valued * Knowledge of billing and cash handling procedures * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Outlook) * Familiarity with review management platforms * Ability to quickly adapt to new technological tools * Advanced English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, German) is an asset * Proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, empathy, and results orientation * Stress management and resilience, attention to detail, and teamwork * Flexible schedule: availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays **What do we offer?** * The opportunity to join a soulful hospitality project that rescues heritage and creates memorable experiences * Joining in 2026 a rapidly growing professional team * Training and career development opportunities within Vestige Collection * Full-time fixed-term intermittent contract * A collaborative and respectful work environment in a privileged natural setting * Location in Menorca (Son Vell hotel) **Do you identify with this project?** If this challenge inspires you—if you share our passion for creating unique experiences for our guests—we would love to meet you.
