Job Summary: We are seeking a backhoe operator to operate heavy machinery, move and screen metals, conduct inspections, and comply with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate heavy machinery to process metallic waste 2. Perform daily inspections and maintain equipment 3. Participate in safety and machinery training We require a backhoe operator with experience operating heavy machinery, preferably backhoes and/or pulpos. Metal handling and screening. Operate heavy machinery (excavators, cranes, shredders, compactors, front-end loaders) to move, sort, and process metallic waste. Conduct daily machinery inspections and report malfunctions or defects to the maintenance department. Comply with safety procedures and applicable environmental regulations during all operations. Coordinate with plant and logistics personnel to optimize material flow. Maintain operational production records, machinery hours, and consumption logs. Assist in equipment cleaning and basic maintenance tasks. Participate in safety, waste handling, and machinery operation training. * 3 years of experience. Operation of heavy machinery and material loading. High-volume material handling across diverse locations. * PROFESSIONAL SPECIALIZATION CERTIFICATE * Spanish (Advanced spoken, Intermediate written) * Catalan (Intermediate spoken, Intermediate written) * Competencies / Knowledge: Collaborative work with other departments; Efficient management of peak workloads; Care and maintenance of assigned equipment and vehicle; Compliance with current occupational safety and environmental regulations. * Personal vehicle availability * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time schedule * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1800' to '2000' * Additional information of interest: Health insurance; Professional development plan; Continuous training
