As an **Expert in Quality Assurance (m/f/d)**, you will be part of the Rolling\-Stock Sourcing team for FlixTrain, ensuring our new rolling stock is delivered in the quality we aim for. This role is based in **Rivabellosa.** **About the Role** * Take responsibility for quality control and construction supervision of our new trains being produced in Spain * Plan and conduct supplier audits, qualification processes, and welding/adhesive bonding inspections * Steer quality assurance together with external experts at OEM and supplier production sites * Participate in and evaluate technical inspections, including type testing, first article inspections, and vehicle acceptances * Create and maintain quality assurance documentation and design the quality assurance process landscape * Conceptualize and implement a quality monitoring system and lead quality improvement projects * Conduct root cause analysis and establish internal quality assurance standards ### **About You** * Degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, business administration, or a similar field with a focus on quality assurance * **7\+ years of experience in quality assurance within the railway sector**, ideally in an international environment * Experienced with common QA tools and techniques, including FMEA, root cause analysis, and risk assessments * Strong knowledge of industry\-specific regulations, standards, and laws * Expertise in welding and/or adhesive bonding technologies * Highly responsible, solution\-oriented, analytical, and organized with structured working methods * **Fluent in English and Spanish** (German is a plus) and willing to travel across Europe We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
