### **Description** **Service Manager – UTE RSU La Vera Region (Cáceres)** ============================================================= **Location:** La Vera Region / Plasencia **Contract:** New award – Domestic waste collection and transport service and complementary services (10 years, transferable) **Position Mission** --------------------- We are seeking a **Service Manager** to lead the comprehensive management of the domestic waste collection and transport contract across several municipalities in the La Vera Region. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and continuous service improvement, reporting directly to the Service Manager. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------- * **Service and operations management:** coordination of opening, closing, and daily operations; supervision of KPIs and reporting to the client. * **Financial management:** control of operating accounts, costs, invoicing, and variance analysis. * **Resources and procurement:** planning of materials and equipment; supervision of suppliers and subcontractors. * **Personnel management:** documentation, training, hiring/termination, labor relations, absenteeism, and performance evaluation. * **Continuous improvement:** identification of opportunities, proposals for optimization, and participation in technical/economic studies. * **Health and safety:** collaboration on safety plans, risk analysis, medical examinations, and regulatory compliance. * **Client and team communication** **Required Profile** -------------------- * University degree in **Civil Engineering, Public Works, Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering**, or related fields. * Minimum of **3–4 years’ experience** in managing cleaning, municipal solid waste (MSW), or similar services. * Demonstrable experience in **team management**. * Advanced proficiency in **Excel and Word**. * Knowledge of **GIS and Presto**. * Valid **Class B driver’s license**.
