MUST-HAVE (non-negotiable) * Minimum 4 years of experience in: System Administration, Operations, and Monitoring. * Minimum 2 years of experience (within the last 3\) working with: RedHat 6 or later, Oracle Linux, VMware 5 or later, Oracle Virtual Machine (OVM), TCP/IP networking, deployment and implementation of Linux servers, and Shell scripting (bash). * At least 1 year applying DevOps and/or Agile (Scrum) methodologies. * Education: Medium-level university degree (MECES 2\) or Higher Vocational Training (MECES 1\), provided you have an additional 2 years’ experience in this role. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: * Administer, operate, and monitor Linux systems. * Deploy and implement servers in real-world, demanding environments. * Work with hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure. * Manage cloud products and participate in end-to-end projects. * Collaborate using DevOps/Agile (Scrum) methodologies. * Handle virtualization and platforms such as VMware, OVM, and OpenShift. NICE-TO-HAVE (if you have these, they add points) * Administration, operations, and monitoring of cloud products in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. * Management of cloud administration, operations, and monitoring projects. * Additional Linux experience (yes, it always counts). * VMware-based virtualization. * Use of DevOps and/or Agile (Scrum) methodologies in real projects. * VMware Cloud Foundation and related technologies. * RedHat OpenShift. * OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
