**Description:** ---------------- We are looking for a **Mechanical Design Engineer** for an important manufacturer of transportation components, located in **Pamplona.** **What will be your responsibilities?** * Design, calculate and develop component drawings from the perspective of standardization, manufacturing cost optimization and assurance of maximum quality. * Shape the mechanical design of components by implementing specifications from various projects at a global level. * Product management within available systems and tools. * Provide technical support to different company departments as required, especially regarding quality-related matters. * Coordinate and collaborate with international teams to shape various designs at a global level. * Coordinate, plan and supervise assigned projects and activities. **What do we offer?** * Permanent contract. * Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:45 and Friday 8:00–15:00, with flexible start time. Intensive working schedule during summer. * Remote work: One day per week. * Subsidized cafeteria (60% covered by the company). **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for in you?** * University degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing metal or steel components for automotive or transportation sectors, gained in international environments — mandatory. * Extensive experience using design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or Windchill. * Very high level of English (daily interaction with other European offices required). * German language proficiency at a high level — desirable. * Experience working with composite materials — desirable. * Desired competencies: attention to detail, analytical ability, logical reasoning and teamwork.
