**INGETEAM**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of power electronic converters, is seeking a professional with knowledge and experience in the design, programming, and validation of Power Plant Controllers (PPC) for photovoltaic and battery energy storage applications. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Design, programming, and validation of PLC-based applications for Power Plant Controllers in photovoltaic and battery storage applications * Simulation and validation using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) of control algorithms with existing models to ensure correct field operation * Design and programming in PLCs of state-machine modules, control logic, data loggers, communications, higher-level functions, etc. * Generation of technical documentation for internal use or delivery to customers * Commissioning, validation, and support of Power Plant Controllers during commissioning and grid connection processes of photovoltaic and energy storage plants * Field technical issue resolution and on-site technical support * Coordination with other R&D, after-sales, and manufacturing teams to resolve manufacturing or field issues and incorporate design improvements * Ensuring adherence to established deadlines for tasks requiring such compliance **EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electronics, or Energy Engineering * IEC61131 programming * Python programming * English level: C1 * *Desirable:* * CODESYS programming experience * Knowledge of industrial communication protocol buses (DNP3, 104, Modbus, OPC UA) * Power electronics knowledge * Automatic control knowledge * Grid integration knowledge * Simulation software knowledge * Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) experience * Experience with OMICRON-type simulators * Prior experience in a similar role We seek a responsible, solution-oriented, and proactive individual, goal-, quality-, and results-driven.
