Key Responsibilities: 1. Accompany children and adolescents in individual educational programs. 2. Ensure the comprehensive care and protection of minors. 3. Serve as an emotional reference and role model for social integration. The primary role involves accompanying children and adolescents in the development of their Individual Educational Programs, working closely with other professionals. Detailed documentation of daily interventions must be recorded in a progress journal, and critical information for continuity of support during shift changes must be shared. Additionally, it is essential to ensure the comprehensive care and protection of minors both inside and outside the facilities. This includes identifying their needs—whether material or emotional—and implementing necessary actions to meet them. The professional is expected to serve as an emotional reference, providing a safe emotional environment where each child or adolescent feels validated and valued. Furthermore, they will act as a behavioral role model and guide the adoption of social roles that facilitate integration into society. Fostering personal and social autonomy will be another key objective. In the case of foreign minors and youth, aspects such as language learning, administrative regularization, community integration, and socio-laboral promotion will be addressed.
