PLANT QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN (CONTROLLER) For an industrial company specializing in the manufacture of self-adhesive labels for clients in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Agri-Food sectors. Part of a nationally established group. Hiring a person for the Quality Department to perform product and process controls directly on the factory floor. We seek a hands-on, observant, and rigorous profile, interested in working close to machinery and actively contributing to product quality for customers. **Job Description** The person will conduct controls during the various stages of label manufacturing: printing, finishing, rewinding, and preparation of finished products. Work will be carried out following plans and instructions defined by the Quality Manager and in direct coordination with Production Managers and operators. **Control Responsibilities** * Compare manufactured labels against the approved artwork or sample. * Verify texts, references, versions, and graphic elements. * Inspect barcodes, QR codes, DataMatrix codes, and variable data. * Check dimensions, registration, color, die-cutting, and finishes. * Detect stains, streaks, missing print areas, and other visual defects. * Verify winding direction, mandrel, splices, and coil presentation. * Perform sampling-based controls during production. * Use basic measurement and verification equipment. * Record results of performed controls. * Proactively identify and segregate products raising doubts. * Report incidents to Production and the Quality Manager. * Collaborate in product reviews and re-inspections. * Verify that indicated corrections have been correctly implemented. * Keep manufacturing samples organized and properly identified. * Release manufactured products for delivery. **Desired Profile** * Vocational training related to Graphic Arts, Printing, Industrial Production, Laboratory, Quality Control, or similar fields. * Candidates with practical experience in printing or label manufacturing—though lacking specific Quality training—will also be considered. * Experience in an industrial environment, preferably in printing, labeling, packaging, or graphic arts. * Ability to interpret manufacturing orders and work instructions. * Basic computer skills. * Availability to work primarily within the production area.
