ACCIONA Energía adheres to the most stringent environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.** **Job Description** Operate and supervise the biomass power plant systems and equipment under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, ensuring all operational parameters remain within established limits and guaranteeing safe and efficient operation while minimizing risks to personnel, facilities, and the environment. 1\. Operate and control plant systems and equipment, ensuring proper functionality. 2\. Assist the Shift Supervisor during startup, shutdown, and other operational maneuvers. 3\. Execute equipment isolation procedures and supervise their implementation during maintenance activities. 4\. Handle biomass unloading equipment, such as overhead cranes and telescopic handlers. 5\. Maintain operational logs, prepare reports, and report anomalies. 6\. Supervise compliance with safety and environmental regulations by internal and external personnel. 7\. Collaborate on spare parts and materials management, including receipt and storage of chemical products. 8\. Monitor the water generation process for the water\-steam cycle and supervise water quality. 9\. Monitor process emissions and take corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance. 10\. Conduct operational rounds to verify equipment status and identify improvement opportunities. 11\. Participate in updating operating procedures and operational maneuver plans. 12\. Support research and proposal of technological improvements to optimize plant efficiency. 13\. Act as a preventive resource for high\-risk tasks and participate in emergency drills. 14\. Assume the Shift Supervisor’s responsibilities in their absence. **Required Skills and Competencies** EDUCATION * Medium-level Vocational Training Cycle in Mechanics, Electricity, or Electronics * Certification in overhead crane operation and industrial boiler operation is recommended * ACCIONA\'s specific training program for Biomass Power Plant Shift Assistants EXPERIENCE * One year of experience in operation and/or maintenance of power plants SKILLS * Teamwork * Responsibility * Attention to detail * Problem solving * Proactivity * Adaptability * Safety orientation * Learning ability SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE Languages * Basic English.
