Key responsibilities include:
* Executing installation supervision services at wind farms, complying with activity, site, and company standards and procedures.
* Providing on-site, participatory technical support to contractor teams regarding the methodology for executing installation operations.
* Reporting identified deviations during the execution of operations to the Installation Contract Manager.
* Ensuring contractors correctly complete work reports, validating the accuracy of the information contained therein.
* Enforcing compliance with Safety, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), and Environmental regulations during installation operations.
**Requirements**
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in: similar wind projects with similar technology / As Electromechanical Installation Supervisor using Nordex technology / In receipt and inspection of major components (shells, tower sections, nacelles, hubs, and blades) and minor components (switchgear, transformers, converters, controllers, fasteners, cables, etc.) / In documentation control, internal forms, supply and installation instructions, material requisitions, cost control, etc. / In time measurement and operation logging.
* Vocational training in Electricity, Electronics, Mechanics, or Renewable Energy; Intermediate or Advanced Technical Degree, or Engineering degree. In the absence of formal qualifications, relevant experience of at least 4 years will be considered.
* Certifications: GWO, First Aid, Manual Handling of Loads, Fire Extinguishing, Working at Heights, HAILO elevator operation certification.
* Knowledge of wind turbine technology.
* Documentation control and adherence to work instructions.
* Knowledge of electromechanical installation.
* Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and SCADA.
* Microsoft Office 365: Advanced proficiency.
