Main responsibilities: * Carry out the automation design end to end, from the order to the SAT, of a packaging machine. * Based on a standard software platform, develop software programs for the machine according to customer specifications (PLC, HMI interfaces \& Safety). * Perform the start\-up process of the machine at the worksite. * Define and implement testing procedures. * Prepare the guidelines and documentation for machine operation. * Complete projects by training and guiding technicians. Support the service team. * Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing the Lean Transformation goals: technical, functional, safety and quality. 5S implementation. * Able to work in the Assembly area when needed, to support the Field Technicians of the machine he/she is working for. **What You Need to Be Successful** * Degree in Software / Automation / Information Engineering. * Experience in industrial automation is a plus. * Experience in motion control, configuration, programming and commissioning of servo drivers, and CAM synchronization. * Knowledge of OMRON SYSMAC, SIEMENS SIMATIC \& SIMOTION, ROCKWELL LOGIX and B\&R PLC programming language based in IEC 61\.131\-3 standard (high level) and modular programming will be highly valuable as well. * Knowledge in SCADA systems like Zenon, Wonderware, Factory Link will be a plus. * Knowledge in high level programming using .Net, C\#, C\+\+, Java, HTML5\. * Good command of English (written and spoken). * Proactive, organized, and methodic. * Results and deadline oriented. * Good understanding of customer needs. * Knowledge of Office tools: MS Word, MS Excel. * LSS knowledge would be an advantage. **Join the Team!** * Flexible timetable. * Remunerated internship. * Activity Plan definition according to student goals. * Multicultural work environment.
