Join us in pursuing solutions for a sustainable future.** ACCIONA, within its Construction business line, requires a Construction Assistant for an important building project in A Coruña. **Job Description** Mission: Independently perform complex operational tasks within their unit/department, in accordance with guidelines set by their supervisor, to meet project requirements. They are responsible for executing construction contracts. They plan, optimize, and supervise resource utilization to ensure construction works are completed on time, to specification, and within budget. Their most common responsibilities include: managing contracts and obtaining required permits and licenses; preparing budget estimates; planning and defining construction phases; supervising subcontractors’ and subordinate staff or laborers’ activities; verifying progress and work quality throughout all project phases; representing the company in relevant matters; etc. Responsibilities: The selected candidate will support the Site Manager in the following tasks: * Daily planning, organization, and monitoring of construction site activities. * Coordination of in-house teams, subcontractors, industrial partners, and suppliers. * Supervision of construction unit execution, ensuring compliance with drawings, measurements, quality standards, and technical specifications. * Monitoring of productivity, construction progress, scheduling, and milestone achievement. * Tracking of orders, material storage, supplies, and auxiliary equipment required for proper execution of works. * Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety procedures on-site. * Managing daily communication with foremen, supervisors, subcontractors, and the rest of the site team. **Candidate Requirements** * University degree in Technical Architecture, Building Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), or equivalent. * Proficiency in construction planning, measurement, and management tools. * Knowledge of AutoCAD, Presto, MS Project, BIM/Revit, or similar tools is desirable. * Leadership profile, autonomy, strong organizational skills, and results orientation. * High problem-solving ability, decision-making capacity, and ability to work under pressure. * Availability to work on-site and adapt to project needs. *We are a company that values diversity as a source of talent and therefore strive to foster an inclusive environment promoting respect, belonging, and commitment—ensuring equal opportunity for all.
