This position is open to professionals from sectors such as cement manufacturing, conveyor belt production, mining, quarries, ports, or heavy industrial environments. ***ABOUT THE POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** * Serve as the technical expert for conveyor belt systems aboard a rock placement vessel, ensuring their operational readiness during loading operations. * Conduct periodic technical inspections and reviews of the vessel’s conveyor belt systems. * Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on onboard material handling equipment. * Diagnose malfunctions and identify potential issues within conveyor systems, proposing technical solutions. * Advise on spare parts requirements and manage replacement materials between port calls. * Support the operational team during loading activities to ensure efficient and safe operations. ***MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (mandatory). * Practical experience with conveyor belt systems (mandatory). * Experience in sectors such as cement manufacturing, conveyor belt production, mining, quarries, ports, or heavy industry (highly desirable). * Ability to work autonomously on-site and provide technically sound recommendations. * Functional level of English for technical communication in international settings. * Citizenship or work authorization within the European Union (mandatory). ***WHAT WE OFFER*** * Offshore project in Spain with two execution phases: August–November 2026 and February–March 2027. * Rotation schedule: 5 weeks on duty / 5 weeks off, or 6 weeks on duty / 6 weeks off. * Opportunity to participate in a high-level international technical project, working alongside multinational teams. * Dynamic environment in the maritime–offshore sector, with potential for extended collaboration on future projects.
