At Arteche, we are looking for an Application Engineer to serve as the technical Product Owner of the team, representing the voice of the customer and the business in highly technological projects. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and validating functional and technical product requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical feasibility. Our purpose is to ensure universal access to clean, efficient, and high-quality energy. **Do you share our energy?** **Key Responsibilities:** * Gather and analyze requirements arising from sector regulations, internal and external customers, translating them into functional and technical requirements. * Define and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing user stories and technical tasks. * Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, AI, cloud, and edge teams to ensure correct implementation of features. * Participate in sprint planning, tracking, reviews, and demos, acting as the liaison between business and technology. * Validate deliverables and ensure they meet defined acceptance criteria. * Monitor product evolution and propose continuous improvements based on technical and user feedback. * Define, monitor, and report project-related metrics. * Ensure requirement traceability and maintain technical product documentation. **Requirements:** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 5 years of experience in a similar position: + In R&D projects or in the electrical and/or industrial sectors + As an application engineer, product owner, developer, or integrator in projects based on: - Data management. - Edge platforms (C/C\+\+, Yocto). - Microservices platforms. - Web and backend applications (Java, Node.js, Angular). - Microservices and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). - Cloud and Edge Computing. - AI algorithms and data processing. * Skills: + Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence. + Ability to write technical user stories and clear acceptance criteria. + Experience and capability in functional validation, acceptance testing, and deliverable management. + Experience and capability in roadmap and backlog management for development projects. * Preferred qualifications: + Knowledge of the electrical system. + Knowledge of protection virtualization. + Knowledge/experience in asset management projects. + Valuable knowledge of cybersecurity standards applicable to the electrical sector (IEC 62443, IEC 62351\). + English proficiency level B2\. **Competencies** * Product vision and customer orientation. * Communication and documentation skills. * Negotiation and prioritization ability. * Analytical thinking and structured approach. * Proactivity and autonomy in decision-making. **We Offer:** * Join a purpose-driven company with strong values, committed to innovation, sustainability, and people. * Be part of a close-knit team with real impact on the organization’s internal and external communication. * A positive work environment and opportunities for professional development. * Flexible working hours and other benefits supporting work-life balance. * Competitive salary commensurate with the candidate’s experience. * Continuous learning and training. * Innovative tools to support your work.
