Opportunity for professional development in LMS and educational technology **FOROX INNOVACION**, a leading national consulting firm, is selecting a **Moodle LMS Platform Developer** for its Vigo office to join a technological project focused on the development, maintenance, and evolution of online learning environments. The selected candidate will participate in the programming, customization, integration, and optimization of a Moodle platform, collaborating with technical, pedagogical, and management teams to ensure a stable, secure, accessible, user-friendly environment tailored to the training project’s needs. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop, adapt, and maintain specific functionalities on the Moodle LMS platform. * Program and customize plugins, blocks, themes, reports, activities, or integrations according to project requirements. * Perform corrective, evolutionary, and preventive maintenance of the platform. * Analyze functional and technical requirements related to the evolution of the Moodle environment. * Collaborate on integrating Moodle with external systems, such as authentication tools, academic management systems, CRM, ERP, videoconferencing platforms, document repositories, or other corporate applications. * Work with databases associated with Moodle, performing queries, adjustments, data analysis, and optimization as needed. * Participate in version upgrades of Moodle, plugins, and related components. * Verify compatibility of in-house developments with new platform versions. * Identify, diagnose, and resolve second- or third-level technical incidents. * Manage user account creation, deletion, and modification, as well as profiles, roles, and permissions. * Create, configure, and maintain courses, categories, groups, cohorts, activities, and learning resources. * Document developments, technical procedures, configurations, and integrations performed. * Participate in functional, technical, and validation testing prior to production deployment. * Produce new courses, assign resources, and conduct tests and assessments. * Apply best practices in development, version control, security, accessibility, and code quality. * **Requirements:** * Prior experience in Moodle platform development, programming, or technical maintenance. * Proficiency in **PHP**, especially as applied to Moodle development. * Experience with relational databases: **MySQL**, **MariaDB**, or **PostgreSQL**. * Knowledge of **HTML, CSS, JavaScript**, and web technologies. * Familiarity with Moodle architecture, including its plugin structure, roles, permissions, courses, activities, resources, and reports. * Experience in corrective and evolutionary maintenance of web applications. * Knowledge of integration via APIs, web services, external authentication, or data exchange between systems. * Ability to analyze technical incidents, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. * Strong technical documentation skills. * Clear communication and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. * Autonomy, organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality orientation. * **Offered:** * Integration into a growing technological project related to digital training and e-learning platforms, driven by new initiatives. * Participation in the development and evolution of a Moodle platform with direct impact on the learning experience. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across technology, training, support, and management. * Opportunities for professional growth in LMS, Moodle, system integration, and educational technology. * A work environment oriented toward continuous improvement, technical excellence, and innovation in online learning. * Competitive salary and contractual terms aligned with experience, technical expertise, and scope of responsibilities. * **Commitment to Equality** * The organization promotes equal opportunities and prohibits discrimination based on gender, age, origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, beliefs, family status, or any other personal or social condition. * All applications will be evaluated solely on the basis of experience, technical competencies, and suitability for the role.
