About the team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) manages the final delivery phase in partnership with external delivery providers. We apply creative thinking and launch continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of products to our customers’ doorsteps. Our goal is to provide customers with the smoothest possible delivery experience and to roll out international delivery solutions for our newest services, such as Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our operations have two facets. Staff working in logistics centers process millions of products for dispatch to delivery teams. Our team focuses on people and supports them—especially since many work overnight shifts. Operations are the core of our business, which is why we operate 24/7, seven days a week, across nearly all our centers.
Meanwhile, our field staff work with Amazon Flex—a network of delivery contractors. Each year, we raise the bar on customer experience by adding new—and especially innovative—delivery services to our portfolio. We seek new ways to overcome sector-specific logistical challenges and reduce our carbon footprint, leveraging a fleet of next-generation vehicles—including electric vehicles—and supporting technologies.
