Currently, we are seeking talent for a leading client in the European aerospace sector — an international company integrating engineering, manufacturing, and operations of satellite launchers and crewed spacecraft.
Job Mission:
As a CNC Machining Technician, your primary objective will be setting up high-precision machine tools and finishing critical components for space missions.
Main Responsibilities:
Precision Machining: Operate numerical control (CNC) machines and manual tools (e.g., parallel lathes, universal milling machines) to manufacture complex metal components according to technical drawings.
ISO Programming: Ability to program and modify parameters directly at the machine control unit.
Quality Control: Inspect and measure parts with stringent dimensional and geometric tolerance requirements.
Tool Management: Select appropriate tools and calculate cutting conditions for critical materials.
Maintenance: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure machinery longevity.
### **Requirements**
We seek a professional with a problem-solving mindset, strong teamwork capabilities, and passion for cutting-edge technology.
Education: Vocational Training (FP) in Machining or equivalent (Desirable: Production Programming or Mechanical Manufacturing Design).
Experience: 2–3 years with 5-axis machining centers (priority) or 3-axis machining centers with demonstrably solid experience.
Advanced Materials: Proficiency in complex metals such as Titanium, Nickel Alloys (Inconel), Stainless Steel, Copper, and Aluminum.
Software and Controls: Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Okuma control systems, as well as CAD/CAM software.
Skills: Expert reading of engineering drawings and commitment to order and cleanliness in the workplace.
