Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen assistant to perform food preparation duties, assist the chef, and maintain hygiene in the work area. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in ingredient preparation and assist the chef. 2. Maintain order and hygiene in the kitchen. 3. Perform basic kitchen porter tasks. We are looking for a kitchen assistant in Gijón (Asturias) for a five-month temporary contract, with a part-time schedule of thirty hours per week. The working hours include morning or afternoon shifts, as well as weekends. The salary complies with the Collective Agreement for the Hospitality Sector of the Principality of Asturias. Main responsibilities include peeling, washing, cutting, and chopping vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients. You will also assist the chef during order preparation, as well as clean kitchenware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Maintaining order and hygiene throughout the entire work area is essential. Basic knowledge of kitchen porter duties is required for this position. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. Immediate start is required.
