




Position Summary: We are seeking a Cook for a service company in Balmaseda, responsible for organizing and preparing dishes, managing orders, and overseeing hygiene control. Key Points: 1. Key role in organizing and executing menus, menu cards, and events. 2. End-to-end kitchen management, from ordering to cleaning. 3. Collaboration and teamwork in a dynamic environment. **Job Description:** A service-sector company headquartered in Balmaseda requires a Cook to perform the following duties: Organize and prepare dishes for daily menus, menu cards, and events, ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness. Place orders according to demand, optimizing purchases from suppliers. Monitor and ensure proper food handling in compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. Manage and organize the work area, maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-organized kitchen at all times. Assist with receiving, storing, and controlling raw materials. Coordinate and collaborate with other kitchen and dining room staff. Participate in special events, adapting to varying workloads. **Essential Requirements** Culinary training from a hospitality school or equivalent. Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or event catering. Knowledge of food safety and food handling regulations. Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a team. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Desirable Requirements** Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Residence in the Enkarterri region. **Working Hours and Schedule / Type of Contract:** Permanent employment contract. 40 hours per week, with balanced and planned working hours. **Salary** As per collective agreement.
