Job Description The Night Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests during the night shift, ensuring an exceptional experience from arrival to departure. Their mission is to deliver high-quality service, ensure security, guarantee the smooth operation of the hotel’s overnight activities, and handle associated administrative tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: Receive and assist guests with professionalism, warmth, and discretion. Efficiently manage check-in and check-out. Address requests, resolve incidents and handle complaints effectively. Manage and deliver guest messages, packages and correspondence promptly and accurately. Maintain constant communication with Housekeeping regarding room status and lost items. Review and update profiles of repeat guests (preferences and notes). Ensure billing accuracy and account closure. Verify guarantees, deposits, credits and customer authorisations according to procedure. Perform accurate cash reconciliation and shift-end cash closing. Complete all nightly audit tasks according to the established checklist. Ensure compliance with hotel security and emergency protocols. Conduct nightly security rounds in guest floors, garage and technical areas. Report any incident, risk or anomaly to the shift supervisor. Manage and ensure proper use of safety deposit boxes. Maintain effective communication with other departments to guarantee operational excellence. Ensure accurate handover of information to the next shift team (briefing and logbook). ### **Requirements** Requirements Education: Intermediate degree in Hospitality or Tourism. Experience: 1–3 years in a similar position at 5-star and/or luxury hotels. Languages: Advanced Spanish and English; intermediate French is desirable. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Opera and hotel management software. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment. Guest satisfaction-oriented mindset with proactive and solution-driven attitude.
