For new industrial sector projects, we require an Electromechanical Design Engineer for a major company located in Galdakao (Bizkaia). Reporting to the Project Director, your main responsibilities will be: **Responsibilities:** * Carry out the complete lifecycle development of electromechanical systems and equipment (design, development, prototyping, validation, manufacturing, and implementation) * Design electromechanical systems and components meeting project needs and requirements * Identify, formulate, and propose effective solutions to technical problems arising during development * Evaluate the safety, reliability, and overall performance of final products * Modify and optimize designs to meet technical requirements and correct deviations or failures * Collaborate in defining project budget and scope * Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and product reports * Support commissioning of electromechanical installations when required **Requirements:** * Technical Engineer or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field * Minimum 2 years’ experience in electromechanical design * Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks * Basic knowledge of AutoCAD * Availability for occasional international travel * Project management experience will be valued * Experience in commissioning of electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation installations will be valued **Languages:** * English B2 – Mandatory **Competencies:** * Teamwork, problem-solving, planning, and continuous improvement orientation * Autonomy and ability to provide technical leadership in projects
