**Position in Avilés for administrative support in logistics**
The main responsibility is to provide comprehensive support to the logistics department’s operations. This includes managing and organizing all transport and warehousing documentation, ensuring it is properly filed and easily retrievable. You will also draft, review, and translate documents such as delivery notes, invoices, or customs paperwork into English, maintaining accuracy and compliance with regulations.
A key part of daily work involves maintaining direct contact with national and international carriers. You will coordinate pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and resolve any issues that arise in real time. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate will serve as a key support within the supply chain, helping to make administrative processes more efficient and ensuring accurate information flow to all stakeholders. Office software tools will be used to generate reports, monitor inventory, and keep databases up to date.
A Higher Vocational Training Cycle qualification is required; qualifications related to logistics, transport, or administration are preferred. A minimum of one year’s demonstrable experience working in the logistics or transport sector is essential. A high level of English proficiency is mandatory—both written comprehension and expression, as well as conversational skills for professional communication. Proficiency in office software, particularly Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, is a fundamental requirement for performing daily tasks.
