If you are someone who loves to serve and has an unquenchable drive to improve your life and the life of those whose lives you touch, then we invite you to explore your next career opportunity with Couples Resorts to fill the position of: **PROJECT ENGINEER OFFICER** **JOB SUMMARY** **The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring the projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards by coordinating resources, managing schedules, and maintaining compliance with regulations across our group of hotels. The Project Engineer will support the developing of piping and instrumentation diagrams for major assets such as our Combined Cooling Heat and Power (CCHP) plant, RO plants, Boiler Rooms and electrical single line diagrams. Additionally, the Project Engineer will provide support for planned incremental expansions****:** **DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES** * + Support the project development and deployment across all hotel properties + Support the development and implementation of engineering standards, policies, and procedures + Develop Piping and instrumentation diagrams for the CCHP, Central Laundry and Boiler systems + Review and revise appropriately Standard Operating procedure for major equipment and where necessary, develop new SOPs to improve the Maintenance Department operational efficiency. + Provide support in managing HVAC installation, setting up operations and maintenance procedures + Support the development and deployment of water resource projects including drilling wells and desalination/RO plants. + Support the development of sustainable water management practices to include the reduce dependency on municipal supply. + Provide support to planned expansions and renovations. + Support the development of project scope, timelines, budgets, and ensure compliance with general engineering principles, engineering safety, codes and quality standards. + Communicate project status to stakeholders through reports and presentation. + Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions. + Manage project risks and troubleshoot technical issues. + Support the management of (Engineering, Maintenance and Capital project) budgets without compromising the guest experience and operational effectiveness + Ensure that procedures and due diligence are followed, especially in respect to procurement, project scope, project expenditure and approval for payment + Establish maintenance metrics where appropriate to support improving the guest experience + Monitor maintenance metrics that influences guest experience + Monitor effective communication and feedback to guest regarding maintenance complaints + Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor engineering projects. + Coordinate project human resources across all properties. + Foster a culture of team work and effective communication + Monitor project performance through ongoing monitoring and evaluation using a monitoring and evaluation (M\&E) framework according to best practice. + Interact with the resorts’ personnel to understand requirements and represent their interests. + Ensure that the projects practice the principles of good housekeeping, reuse, reduce, recycle and refusal of any product or practice that does not support our environmental policy. + Support building greater resilience in the hotel infrastructure. + Practice weekly and monthly team and project brief to ensure consistent communication documentation and communication on project issues, policy, progress and points for actionIdentify and implement energy efficiency initiatives to reduce operational costs.Monitor energy consumption and develop strategies to improve energy efficiency and conservation. **The successful candidate should have:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field). * Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in project execution. * Experience in Heating, Ventilation and Air\-conditioning and water systems is an asset * Knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and energy efficiency and conservation strategies. * Project management skills in delivering projects within scope, on time and within budget. * Team management abilities. * Exceptional problem\-solving and decision\-making skills. * Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. **Are you the right person?** Then submit your resume by email to applications@couples.com by Friday, March 9, 2026\. ***Couples Resorts is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining a culture of fair treatment, respect and the preservation of dignity of both employees and guests.***
