If you are a professional passionate about engineering and committed to sustainability and the circular economy, this is your opportunity to join an innovative project. **About the position:** We are seeking an Engineer with a solid track record in waste management to play a key role in designing and managing advanced infrastructure for waste treatment and/or disposal. You will apply circular economy and sustainability criteria across diverse projects, including: * Mechanical treatment * Composting * Anaerobic digestion * Landfill design and management Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the technical, economic, and environmental viability of each project, actively contributing to the transition toward a more efficient and environmentally respectful waste management model. **Main responsibilities:** * Actively participate in the conceptual and detailed design of infrastructure for waste treatment and valorization. * Supervise and manage the construction and commissioning of such infrastructure. * Apply and promote circular economy and sustainability criteria throughout all project phases. * Conduct technical and economic feasibility studies for new waste management projects. * Manage and coordinate technical teams and subcontractors during construction execution. * Ensure compliance with current waste and environmental regulations. * Prepare technical reports, project summaries, and documentation. * Collaborate in identifying new technologies and innovative solutions in the field of waste management. **Candidate requirements:** * **Education:** Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer (Civil Engineering, Water Resources and Transport). Other engineering disciplines—such as Agricultural, Forestry, or Chemical Engineering—will also be considered favorably, provided relevant experience and eligibility for professional registration are demonstrated. * **Experience:** Minimum of 5–10 years of proven professional experience in the waste management sector. * **Specific knowledge:** Demonstrated experience in the design, development, or management of projects related to landfills, waste treatment plants, waste collection systems, energy recovery, or similar. * **Languages:** English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both spoken and written. * **Skills:** Leadership ability, teamwork, problem-solving, proactivity, and excellent communication skills. * **Availability:** Interest and availability to work at either our Madrid or Bilbao office. **Preferred qualifications:** * Familiarity with CAD design tools. * Experience in obtaining environmental permits and licenses. * Experience applying BIM methodologies. * Knowledge of international waste management regulations. **Why join Eosol Group?** At Eosol Group, we invest in talent and professional development.
