Preparation of taxes, Social Security contributions, IRPF, and monthly accounting reconciliation. **Responsibilities for a Payroll Technician in Barcelona:** The position involves comprehensive management of the full payroll cycle, covering payroll preparation, calculation, and reconciliation for various companies and collective agreements. It also includes full personnel administration, such as hiring, termination, contractual modifications, and associated documentation management. Administration of labor processes—including SILTRA, Sistema RED, SEPE, and CASIA—will be a core part of the responsibilities. Additionally, absenteeism will be monitored, working time controlled, and shifts, vacations, and leave managed—all in strict compliance with current regulations. Calculation of benefits, severance payments, and final settlements will also fall under this role. Preparation and filing of periodic tax returns and settlements—both monthly and annual—including Social Security, IRPF, and regional (Forales) taxes will be required. Monthly accounting reconciliation, provision management, and reconciliations with the finance department are expected. Management of wage garnishments, official requests, and execution of monthly payroll payments will be routine tasks. The selected candidate will also develop, update, and maintain corporate databases, as well as HR dashboards and key performance indicators, conducting budget variance tracking and analysis. * 3–5 years’ experience managing the full payroll cycle. * Experience with A3 software is required. * Proximity to the workplace is desirable. Fluent spoken and written Spanish and/or Catalan. Degree in Business Administration and/or HR training.
