




Summary: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a senior residence, responsible for designing and implementing intervention programs, assessments and adaptations, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. Highlights: 1. Define occupational therapy intervention programs. 2. Assess, plan, and evaluate the intervention plan. 3. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team for adaptations. An Occupational Therapist is required for a senior residence. Define the occupational therapy intervention program for the user, which involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the intervention plan. • Inform, guide, and advise the user, family members, or reference person regarding the intervention program. • Train, re-educate, and establish intervention guidelines in occupational areas (self-care, productivity, and leisure) to prevent and improve occupational dysfunctions. • Reinforce, maintain, and improve specific deficits in performance components (sensorimotor, cognitive, and psychosocial) through analysis and application of selected occupations. • Assess, advise, train, adapt, and monitor technical aids and/or adaptations (wheelchairs, transfer aids, adapted utensils, clothing adaptations, etc.), in coordination with the interdisciplinary team. • Adapt the environment to users’ needs to facilitate their maximum level of autonomy (removal of architectural barriers, fall and risk prevention, ergonomics, etc.), in coordination with the interdisciplinary team. • Promote and facilitate, in coordination with other professionals, proper positioning and postural control for each individual served. • Assess, design, fabricate, adapt, and monitor orthoses in coordination with the physiotherapist, as appropriate. • Advise, as appropriate, the individual, family members, or reference person on the use of adaptations and technical aids. • Design and participate, jointly with other team professionals, in health education programs aimed at prevention and health promotion. • Conduct and supervise specific therapeutic groups within the center’s general activity program. • Carry out occupational therapy interventions specific to the discipline in the occupational therapy department and designated spaces. • Ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations regarding users and respect for the right to privacy. • Ensure respect for relational customs and cultural diversity of individuals served. * Experience: 1 month.
