As a company committed to diversity and inclusion, we encourage all professionals who meet the job description requirements to apply.** **Petronor's Industrial Complex in Muskiz requires an Electrical/Instrumentation Technician for its Maintenance Department.** Reporting to the Maintenance Department under Petronor’s Directorate of Reliability and Maintenance, we seek a candidate to lead and manage specialty resources, optimize costs and performance outcomes, contribute to achieving unit objectives, and provide technical advice to the organization in accordance with applicable regulations, as well as the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and directives set by the management line. Responsibilities and Duties * Determine, manage, and coordinate medium- and long-term internal and contracted resources required, and provide technical support within the functional scope of the specialty, including Authorized Control Bodies where applicable. * Coordinate and supervise execution of specialty-specific work in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental protection standards; ensure proper planning and scheduling of specialty-specific work to meet production plan objectives, in line with quality, safety, and environmental protection standards. * Evaluate contractors specializing in the candidate’s field, participating in the contractor classification process. * Ensure integration of specific processes involved in managing the area, generating periodic activity reports detailing interventions, reflecting associated costs and resources, and updating affected technical documentation. * Implement the maintenance plan applying corrective maintenance policies, ensuring development and execution of the preventive maintenance program and failure analysis, while managing and controlling costs generated by these activities. * Provide technical support and assistance to other departments regarding design, applicable regulations, quality requirements, construction, failure analysis, and service suitability. * Coordinate specific projects and monographic tasks related to maintenance management, process engineering, and maintenance systems. * Collaborate in selecting new equipment and updating technical specifications, as well as defining required stock levels to guarantee necessary availability. Coordinate studies on modifications affecting equipment design, installation, or replacement due to obsolescence, underperformance, or unsuitability for service. * Prepare technical specifications, define control procedures, and participate in the contracting process for related works. * Support Workshop or Maintenance Management leadership, optimizing cost and operational management in the assigned production area to ensure optimal availability and working conditions. * Supervise tracking, archiving, and control of official regulatory requirements applicable to equipment. * Actively participate in official audits. * Continuously maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies. Requirements * Industrial Engineering degree, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + University Master’s (specializing in electrical, electronic, or automatic engineering), or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance roles, preferably electrical/instrumentation. * 3 years’ experience managing teams. * Experience managing maintenance contracts in industrial plants. * Skills: leadership, communication, management capability, willingness and capacity to assume increasingly complex tasks/functions. Critical thinking, commitment, and learning ability. * Digital skills. * Advanced English (B2). * Valid driver’s license. Desirable * Experience in refining business. * Experience implementing LEAN and AGILE methodologies. * Occupational Health and Safety certification.
