Syrup Operator We are selecting a **Syrup Operator** for our production plant located in Oliva. Reporting to the Syrup Manager, the role will be responsible for carrying out activities related to departmental management. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Mixture Preparation: Visual monitoring of equipment in both the syrup and glucose rooms, boilers, and water room. Quantities are recorded for verification against the system. Resolve any basic maintenance issues; if not qualified, report incidents to the maintenance department and shift supervisor. Perform required cleaning and sterilization procedures on equipment. Manually weigh and dispense microcomponents. Record necessary data regarding raw material stock levels as well as cleaning activities carried out. * Syrup Production: Execute syrup production according to I+D-approved recipes available in the system. Calculate appropriate proportional quantities based on tank size and production orders, and use the computer system to schedule mixing of syrup with water, sugar, additives, and other possible raw materials. * Loading and Unloading: Verify raw material stock levels required per production order in SAP. Manage receipt, unloading, supplier information, and quantity of raw materials, cross-checking with the system. Coordinate with warehouse for loading and unloading of raw materials. * Adhere to quality, food safety, environmental, and occupational safety standards within their area of responsibility: * Collect samples of raw materials (additives, sugar, water) and prepared syrups. Also coordinate sampling at tank start, midpoint, and end, delivering samples to the Quality Department. Ensure compliance with Food Defense requirements in their area. * Monitor indicators provided by equipment (temperatures, pressures) and record them in the laboratory system for water or syrup parameters such as Brix, pH, chlorine, carbonation, and others depending on the product. * Monitor processes under their responsibility that may affect quality and food safety, with particular emphasis on processes defined by the HACCP/CCP team. This position may require surveillance/supervision of a CCP. In such cases, the employee will receive annual specific training to ensure proper control of products and/or processes. * Monitor traceability and expiry dates of raw materials. * Prepare indicated mixtures on time and to required quality standards. * Verify additives and raw materials used in mixtures. * Cleaning and Hygiene: Perform workplace organization and cleaning tasks. Plan and execute tank cleaning and disinfection procedures, coordinating with the shift supervisor and Production Manager in case of unexpected changes to the initial schedule; properly segregate waste generated at the workstation; comply with work instructions. * **JOB PROFILE** Education: + Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) / Baccalaureate / Medium or Higher Vocational Training Cycle. + Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position.
