Upholstery Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking an upholsterer to prepare frames, create patterns, cut, sew, and assemble new upholstery, as well as install curtain tracks and blinds. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a person to assist with upholstery tasks. Main responsibilities include removing old upholstery and preparing furniture frames—such as chairs and armchairs—for new upholstery processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating patterns, marking and cutting required pieces for upholstery and padding. They will also perform sewing—the assembly of various components comprising the upholstery—and finally proceed with mounting and installing the new upholstery onto the furniture. Additionally, installation tasks for items such as curtain tracks and blinds will be carried out. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required for commuting to worksites. Prior experience or related training in upholstery tasks will be viewed favorably.
