As part of the Fresh Produce Department team, led by the Department Manager, your responsibilities will be: * Receiving goods, ensuring the freshness and incoming condition of fruits and vegetables. * Preparing and displaying fruits, vegetables, and other department products, ensuring quality, quantity, and optimal product presentation. * Conducting portioning, yield calculations, waste tracking, etc. * Monitoring existing stock, assisting the Manager with inventory and ordering tasks, and ensuring adequate stock levels and product variety. * Inspecting and removing products that do not meet required freshness standards. * Cleaning, organizing, and supervising tools, equipment, and department facilities. Desired skills and qualifications: We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about retail, food, and people, and if you have: \- Previous experience as a Fruit Seller or Assistant in a fruit shop. \- Compulsory Secondary Education. \- Training in food handling/food safety. \- Knowledge of tools and equipment used in fruit and vegetable shops. \- Basic office software skills.
