Job Summary:
We are seeking a Commercial Controller to strategically plan the collection, monitor sales performance, and propose improvements to optimize results.

We are looking for a Commercial Controller for our Men’s Planning team.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct strategic collection planning considering quantitative perspectives, and track collection performance (sales, surplus, distribution, etc.) throughout the season to support decision-making aimed at increasing sales.
- Collaborate with Collection Coordination on the strategic forecasting of collection purchases based on sales forecasts per line.
- Define numerical seasonal objectives: sales targets, shipments, surplus, margin, etc., for presentation to management.
- Calculate total purchase cost/units for management approval.
- Be responsible for generating necessary statistical analyses to anticipate demand required to meet CAD objectives (profit, margin, etc.).
During season management:
- Revise sales and margin forecasts (global and by market) throughout the season and propose improvement actions.
- Make decisions regarding global and/or market-specific promotions to boost sales.
- Monitor current campaign collection sales performance and sales ranking by visiting stores and proposing actions to improve sales both during the current season and strategically for upcoming seasons.
- Propose improvements to in-store product distribution and display to enhance sales.
- Track collection deliveries to stores and identify potential issues to be addressed collaboratively with Purchasing, CMT, and/or Distribution departments.
- Act as mediator between CAD and involved departments (Purchasing, Factory – CMT, GDP – Distribution, etc.) to resolve identified issues.
- Create and develop reports needed to improve collection planning and tracking (e.g., sales peaks, sales surges) to enable strategic decisions regarding forecasting or mid-season corrections.
Before and during sales periods:
- Analyze overall seasonal performance.
- Collaborate on seasonal performance analysis from multiple perspectives (sales by family, by line, by market, by channel, etc.).
- Perform surplus liquidation estimation and calculation.
ABOUT YOU:
- A degree in Business Administration and Management.
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within the fashion retail sector, with decision-making responsibility regarding product.
- A high level of English proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of retail & fashion market research for analysis and key strategic decision-making regarding collections, along with practical application in business operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and simply explain collection key points and their potential business impact.
- Experience in purchase budgeting and comparison with commercial results.
