Comprehensive project management with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance DESCRIPTION Beside Talent is looking to incorporate, into the team of one of its client companies located in Barcelona, a Technician for Optional and/or Executive Construction Management of Installations with initiative. Their work methodology focuses on BIM project development, enabling innovative and efficient solutions. **Job Responsibilities:** You will be responsible for optional or executive construction management of installations for projects designed by the company’s own engineering department. Project typologies span a wide range of sectors. Main responsibilities include: * **Optional or executive construction management of installations:** Supervise and comprehensively manage installation execution, ensuring compliance with technical and quality standards. * **Control and monitoring of the designed project’s execution:** Ensure construction proceeds in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and the scope defined in the project. * **Control and monitoring of construction quality:** Implement and verify quality control procedures across all execution phases, ensuring materials, equipment, and labor meet established requirements. * **Economic control and monitoring of construction:** Manage the project’s assigned budget, monitor costs, review certifications, handle potential modifications, and ensure profitability. * **Coordination with teams and suppliers:** Maintain smooth and effective communication with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper integration of installations within the overall project. * **Technical documentation management:** Prepare, review, and archive all construction-related documentation, including drawings, technical reports, certificates, progress reports, and meeting minutes. * **Incident resolution:** Identify, analyze, and propose solutions to problems and deviations arising during construction, minimizing their impact on schedule and budget. * **Regulatory compliance:** Ensure all installations comply with current regulations regarding safety, health, environment, and applicable technical standards. * **Progress reporting:** Periodically report to management on construction status, including progress, costs, risks, and identified incidents. **WE OFFER:** * Flexible working hours. * Permanent contract. * Remote work, except for site visits. * Salary: depending on experience: 35000 \- 50000 REQUIREMENTS **Job Requirements:** * Technical education in Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * Proven experience of at least 3 years in construction management of installations (MEP). * In-depth knowledge of various installations (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, etc.). * Experience using BIM software, particularly Revit. * Project management capability, including planning, cost control, and risk management. * Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. * Results-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure. * Proactive, organized individual with strong attention to detail. * English and/or French at B2 level. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with sustainability certifications (LEED, BREEAM, WELL). * Knowledge of renewable energy systems. * Experience in project management.
