**Business Unit / VP** BU Europe **Position to which it reports** Plant HSE Manager **Objective** HSE Technician **Main responsibilities** Ensure that the HSE policy defined by the company is applied. Ensure compliance with the requirements established in the manual and specific procedures (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001). Collaborate in the development and monitoring of HSE plans (annual objectives/program). Manage the integration of HSE across all levels of company management. Assist, after prior preparation, in the meetings of the Prevention, Environment and Energy Committee. Monitor non-conformities, action plans, corrective actions, and other aspects defined in HSE procedures. Participate in a process of attitude change that ensures preventive management rather than solely reactive management in HSE matters. Supervise the training and information programs defined for the HSE area. Interact with official bodies and collaborating entities involved in prevention and environmental management. Review and keep up to date the indicators and records legally required and defined in specific procedures. Supervise and participate in the design to ensure that new investments in machinery and facilities comply with current regulations on occupational health and safety and environmental protection. Identify waste generated at the plant, its storage, and subsequent management. Ensure the proper functioning of critical installations for environmental protection (smoke filters, wastewater treatment plant, cooling towers, etc.). Collaborate and propose R&D studies and projects aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of company facilities. **Profile requirements** *Education* Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or equivalent *Languages* Basque, Spanish, English *Experience* 1 year in a similar position *Technical skills* Training in Occupational Risk Prevention in the specialties of Safety and Hygiene. Training in Environmental Management *Soft skills* Ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention and environmental regulations.
