Reporting to the Production Director, your main responsibilities will include supervising all maintenance and repair activities at Izarra, ensuring optimal operation of facilities, equipment and machinery. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, budget management and compliance with safety regulations. You will play a crucial role in maximizing asset reliability, minimizing downtime and controlling maintenance costs. **Tasks and Responsibilities** * Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with organizational objectives, including preventive maintenance plans. * Team Leadership: Manage and motivate maintenance personnel, provide training and ensure compliance with safety standards. * Budget Management: Oversee the maintenance budget, allocate resources efficiently and control costs. * Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and legal requirements. * Facilities and Equipment Management: Supervise maintenance of buildings, grounds and company vehicles, including scheduling maintenance tasks and responding to emergencies. * Preventive Maintenance: Implement proactive maintenance strategies to minimize unexpected downtime and extend asset lifespan. * Performance Monitoring: Track maintenance activities, analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. * Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external maintenance providers and contractors. **Required Qualifications:** * Higher Technical or University Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in supervisory or managerial roles. * Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma). * Experience in automation projects, maintenance digitalization or Industry 4.0 is valued. * Intermediate English proficiency for technical communication with the multinational company and international suppliers. **Key Competencies:** * Strong technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial automation. * Proficiency in preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance planning, as well as maintenance management tools (ERP). * Leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills. * Ability to analyze complex failures, identify root causes and propose effective solutions. * Strategic vision to optimize equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, other departments and management. * Organized, disciplined and able to work under pressure. * Focus on workplace safety and commitment to continuous improvement.
