





**WHO WE ARE** Experts in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of industrial power electronics equipment and systems At **Supsonik**, we have over 35 years of experience developing and manufacturing solutions for uninterruptible power systems (UPS), DC/DC converters, inverters, battery rectifiers/chargers, test benches, power supplies, custom customer-adapted equipment, engineering and project/system design, etc. **POSITION DESCRIPTION** We are seeking a Purchasing Engineer responsible for comprehensive purchasing management at Supsonik, optimizing the supply chain, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring strong supplier relationships, thereby contributing to the organization’s competitiveness and sustainability. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manage technical procurement of equipment, materials, and services, ensuring project requirements are met * Prepare, control purchase orders, and manage associated contracts and technical documentation: data sheets, purchase specifications, certifications, etc. * Coordinate with production and logistics departments to ensure efficient supply * Collaborate with planning to align purchases with production forecasts. Calculate material requirements (MRP) * Inventory management * Monitor budgets, identify cost overruns, and initiate corrective actions with the Project team * Analyze costs, margins, and supply chain optimization opportunities * Coordinate with engineering to validate component alternatives or changes * Participate in continuous improvement and process digitization projects * Optimize purchasing processes, inventories, monitor purchasing KPIs, and provide periodic reports to management * Follow and improve internal procedures related to procurement * Supplier management: identifying new and alternative suppliers; conducting supplier audits **REQUIREMENTS:** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering (preferred), Industrial Engineering, or Organization Engineering **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in comprehensive procurement process management: supplier selection, negotiation, awarding, and order/delivery follow-up **Knowledge:** Knowledge of electronic components and/or the power electronics industry Proficiency in office tools (Excel, SAP ERP, SharePoint) **Languages:** English: C1 **Required Competencies:** * Excellent communication skills * Analytical ability * Dynamic and goal-oriented person * Strong planning and organizational skills Inclusion, equity, and non-discrimination are fundamental pillars of our culture.
