**Description:** ---------------- At GURPEA, a leading industrial maintenance company with over 20 years of experience, we are looking to incorporate a **Mechanical Technician** to strengthen the maintenance team at one of our clients located in the Jundiz industrial park (Vitoria\-Gasteiz). **What will you do on a daily basis?** You will join the plant's technical team, working in a demanding industrial environment where precision and quality are essential. Your main responsibilities will be: * Mechanical corrective and preventive maintenance on production machinery. * Performing welding (MIG/MAG and TIG, as required) on metal structures and components. * Assembly, adjustment, and installation of mechanical parts. * Replacement of bearings, shafts, conveyors, and other components. * Interpretation of mechanical drawings and support in equipment modifications or improvements. * Participation in technical shutdowns, light boilerplate work, and facility upgrades. **What we offer:** * Permanent contract from day one. * Annual salary ranging from €28,000 to €33,000 gross in 14 payments (additional bonuses excluded), depending on qualifications. * A stable project within a solid and growing company. * Continuous training and technical support from our specialist team. * Conditions regulated by the Steel and Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (14 payments). * Access to social benefits through flexible compensation (childcare vouchers, private health insurance, etc.). * Rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts. **Requirements:** --------------- **What are we looking for?** * Training in Industrial Mechanics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Maintenance, or related field. * Previous experience in industrial environments, minimum 3 years. * Demonstrable knowledge in welding (MIG/MAG and/or TIG). * Experience in mechanical assembly and adjustment.
