Job Summary: This role involves receiving, organizing, sorting, and handling packages in a logistics warehouse, ensuring tracking and efficiency in a dynamic environment. Key Highlights: 1. Operational tasks in a logistics warehouse, including package reception and organization. 2. Sorting, packaging, and scanning for cargo tracking. 3. Manual handling of packages and organization of space inside vehicles. Operational tasks in a logistics warehouse in Pontevedra. The primary function is to receive and organize packages for distribution, verifying their initial condition and pre-sorting them by destination. Packages are then sorted by delivery route, rewrapped or packaged as needed, and digitally scanned to maintain cargo tracking. Physically loading orders into transport vehicles requires manually handling packages of varying sizes and weights, following safety protocols to prevent damage and accidents. Space inside the transport vehicle is also organized to maximize capacity. The environment is dynamic and constantly active, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork to meet deadlines and maintain logistical process efficiency. Proven experience in similar warehouse assistant roles, preferably in the logistics or parcel industry. A forklift operator’s license and experience operating such equipment are considered advantageous. Residency in the Pontevedra area or its surroundings is required to facilitate onboarding and regular attendance.
