Manage internal business and practice in accordance with Stantec frameworks **Requisition Number:** 24258BR **Description:** Stantec is seeking to hire a PROGRAM DIRECTOR for its offices in Peru, requiring a professional with at least 20 years of overall work experience. Key responsibilities include: * Responsible for integrating engineering, permitting, social, risk, and commercial strategy into a coherent business case to be presented at Stage 3 FEL gate. * Track program-specific outcomes for FEL 3: scope definition, cost estimate accuracy, schedule credibility, and risk maturity. * Chair the Program Leadership Team and lead project execution planning activities. * Manage internal business and practice in accordance with Stantec’s established frameworks (P&L, personnel, quality, etc.). * Serve as the primary leadership interface with client leadership. * Ensure compliance with SIGIA, Gate 3 discipline, and audit-ready documentation. * Make it timely, high-c f the client, program and Stantec. * Make timely, high-impact decisions using available information and considering the risk appetite of the client, program, and Stantec. * Ensure compliance with SIGIA, Gate 3 discipline, and audit-ready documentation. * Make timely, high-impact decisions using available information and considering the risk appetite of the client, program, and Stantec. **Qualifications:** Requirements for this position are: * Professional with over 20 years of total experience in mining and/or large industrial capital programs. * Over 5 years in Program Manager/Director roles on major mining or infrastructure projects. * Direct experience with waste and tailings facilities and/or mechanized material transport, preferably under GISTM or equivalent global standards. * Prior accountability for Class 2 (or higher) cost estimates, schedule confidence, and risk quantification. * Program control across multiple disciplines or interdependent assets (tailings, rock waste, water, infrastructure, relocations). * Familiarity with schedule-based feasibility phases featuring compressed delivery windows. * Program control across multiple global offices and delivery centers. **About Stantec:** Stantec’s community brings together approximately 34,000 employees working across more than 450 locations on six continents.
