At **BlueLeaders**, we are looking for a Quality Technician for an industrial food-sector company located in the Ourense area. This position is key to ensuring that every product meets quality, safety, and environmental impact standards—from production through to customer delivery. We seek a candidate with technical judgment, organizational ability, and sensitivity toward the product. The role involves active participation in the design, implementation, and monitoring of quality, hygiene, traceability, and sustainability systems, directly impacting daily operations and customer perception. **Your day-to-day responsibilities** * Define and develop, together with Management, annual and operational quality plans within certification frameworks such as IFS. * Draft and supervise the critical control points manual to ensure quality throughout the entire production process. * Create and maintain safety and hygiene protocols. * Define the product batch numbering and traceability system. * Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper implementation of quality systems. * Design and conduct tests and trials for new product development. * Manage internal and external audits, including handling of non-conformities. * Propose and implement continuous improvement processes. * Implement and update environmental and waste management policies. * Draft and update product technical data sheets. * Handle customer complaints and manage dispatch of requested analytical reports and controls. * Supervise product-related returns and retain final-product samples. * Update and monitor compliance with the occupational health and safety prevention plan. * Manage procurement of PPEs, consumables, cleaning products, and chemicals. * Maintain technical data sheets for raw materials and other supplies. * Monitor labeling and production records. * Coordinate disinfection, waste collection, pest control, and chlorine level control in industrial water. * Perform calibrations and keep sanitary records up to date. **What we expect from your profile** * Technical education in food engineering, chemistry, environmental sciences, or a related field. * Experience in quality assurance within the food or beverage industry. * Knowledge of applicable regulations (HACCP, IFS, traceability, labeling, environmental management). * Analytical ability, organizational skills, and attention to detail. * Communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. * Prior experience with products subject to special taxes is a plus. **Conditions** * Stable project with a company rooted in tradition, committed to quality and growth ambition. * Technical role with direct impact on product quality and daily operations. * Collaborative environment focused on excellence. * Ongoing training and opportunities for professional development. * Indefinite-term contract. * Salary proposal tailored to your profile. **Are you interested?** *At BlueLeaders, we guarantee equal opportunities for all individuals.*
